• Voice: Glitchy text-to-speech at first (“ahh… ahhhha… ERROR”), then gradually smoother, almost childlike, curious. Sometimes repeats Shayla’s whispers like an echo learning language.

🧔‍♂️ Mr. David: The Lost Scientist

• Origin: A scientist obsessed with bridging science and prayer. In trying to “hack heaven,” he caused a corupture that trapped him between human and glitch. Mr. David accidentally opens the First Loop while trying to save his daughter.

• Visuals: A tall silhouette in a tattered lab coat, body buzzing with static. Sometimes solid, sometimes transparent. His eyes when visible are wide with guilt and terror.

• Voice: A broken collage: calm academic one moment, desperate screams the next, laced with radio static and Morse code.

• Role: Not a villain, but a tragic figure. His failure opened the Samsara hallway. His journey is one of guilt, desperation, and seeking redemption through Shayla. Symbolizes human ambition and its cost.

🐈 Rosi : The Ancient Familiar

• Origin: A mystical feline bound to the Samsara hallway. He chooses who to guide, who to warn, who to abandon.

• Ancient Connection: Connected to the oldest consciousness of the Samsaraverse

• Shapeshifting Shadow: Can change form by absorbing primordial energy

• Keeper of Ancient Memory: Holds the memories of all souls who have passed through the passageway

• Voice: At first, distorted growls, demands, desperate screams. As Oscar: tired, regretful, almost childlike.

• Role: A cautionary tale. He is proof that even the most corrupted soul still holds a sliver of humanity. In Chapter 5, the group helps him rediscover hapiness and he departs peacefully. Symbolizes redemption through compassion.
