This chapter takes Preet, Shayla, Rosi, and Mr. David to a cosmic chamber where all actions are recorded in the Ledger (Book of Karma). They see karmic numbers falling from a “digital snow” representing the inner balance and behavior of the soul. In the center of the chamber appears The Karmic Broker, a red-robed figure with a golden mask, holding a ledger that personally writes the fates of all beings.

The Broker reveals that he is not merely a record-keeper, but one who maintains the “flow of karma” when the old keepers fail and Oscar and his team’s actions disrupt the established system. At the end of the chapter, the Bird King dramatically arrives in the chamber, foreshadowing the coming major conflict.
