- He knows all prayers, including failed ones.

Shayla touched a shard of glass, answering her father's failed prayer. The light changed… from a glitch to a calming one.

Question: What actually happened when Shayla answered that prayer? (Not “saving.” Not “forgiving.” There are other words.)

- The process was akin to “closing a file,” not “granting a wish.”
